Staff Accountant (Part-Time)

About the Role
Abilitie is seeking a US-based staff accountant to join our expanding, remote accounting department. We’re looking for an adaptable, detail-oriented and organized professional who is experienced with general accounting principles and functionality. This is a chance to grow your accounting and ad hoc skills within our fast-based startup environment. The ideal candidate is proficient with QuickBooks and Excel. This role reports to our Head of Accounting.
We anticipate this person will routinely work 10-15 hours per week. This position is offered on a part-time basis – it is not full-time, nor benefits eligible.
What You Will Do
- Research state sales and income tax compliance with relevant statutes and regulatory codes (we’ll train on this)
- Suggest process improvements to accounting leadership
- Monitor and report potential financial issues and risks while providing researched solutions when issues surface
- Maintain written and oral communications between the company and all relevant vendors and regulatory agencies
- Assist with financial reporting, analysis, reconciliation, month-end and year end reporting
- Perform billing, accounts payable/receivable duties, as needed
- Support ad hoc projects
Who You Are

About the Role
Abilitie is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented Client Business Partner (or Manager) to own the customer experience of Abilitie’s flagship learning experiences that are delivered to Fortune 500 clients around the world. The Client Business Partner (or Manager) must think strategically about driving customer growth and engagement while minimizing customer churn; this includes a healthy balance of program design and sales. What You Will Do
- Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, guide clients through the design and delivery of our experiences, and develop new business from existing clients.

Client Support Specialist (Contract)

About the Role
Our Client Support Specialists (CSS) manage technical support channels (chat, email, phone), program logistics and professional communications across clients, end-user participants, faculty, producers and internal stakeholders. This person is an obsessively organized, tech-savvy problem solver who understands that the detailed nature of their work is highly valued and an essential element of our success. Our CSSs work as independent contractors: the role is remote and paid hourly. Working hours are set in coordination with the needs of the business and coverage for our 24/5 client facing support channels. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Client Operations.
What You Will Do
- Utilize an ownership mindset to create ‘raving fans’ of the client program through exceptional communication and systems management.
- Deliver timely and accurate technical support through multiple channels: chat, email, phone, including escalation support for live sessions.
- Manage program logistics for clients, including session scheduling, staffing assignments, Zoom assignments, calendar invitations, surveys and participant roster management.
- Proactively communicate with program participants and respond to emails and questions with a professional and inviting tone in a timely manner.
- Join Client Experience Directors on client facing calls to take call notes and follow up on logistical details.
- Fluency with our primary work productivity tools: Chatlio, Google Suite, Zoom admin and Slack.
- Stay ahead of client requests and logistical changes to keep programs running smoothly.

About the Role
Abilitie is looking for engaging, energetic, and skilled contract facilitators to lead 1-4 day simulation-based business training programs through virtual collaboration. Facilitators are asked to teach concrete principles of management, leadership, and business acumen using one of our team-based business simulations. Facilitators are trained on the program content by our staff and are asked to become familiar with leadership and/or business acumen course content in areas such as business strategy, team and group leadership, financial statements and ratio analysis, basic return on investment analysis, and/or similar leadership and financial business acumen topics.
Most programs are currently delivered virtually although there may be opportunities for in-person facilitation in the future. While we are unable to guarantee the number of programs/hours worked as it depends on our clients’ varying needs, we aim to accommodate individual preferences for assignment frequency.
Abilitie onboards facilitators in quarterly cohorts. This position is offered on a contract basis – it is not full-time, nor benefits eligible.
What You Will Do
- Lead 1-4 day training workshops for participants on leadership and business acumen topics with authority and confidence
- Administer Abilitie’s computer-based business simulations and debrief results with the class both onsite and remotely
- Travel to on-site locations around the US and world depending on availability and travel preferences (typically clients cover all travel expenses and offer additional compensation for international travel)
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree/MBA strongly preferred
- Teaching and/or training experience. You must have both a desire to teach and a demonstrated aptitude in teaching leadership and/or financial concepts
- Prior managerial experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal communication ability and aptitude in managing a classroom or online learning space designed for up to 40 participants
- High comfort level with dynamic, case-study based lecture and discussion format
- Experience with virtual deliveries is required and high participant engagement is a must

Virtual Producer (Contract)

About the Role
Our most successful virtual producers are not only tech savvy, but also calm under pressure, kind and patient with participants’ diverse technical acumen, and quick to problem solve when something unexpected happens in a session. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
Our producers work as independent contractors: the role is remote and the hours can vary from week to week depending on the needs of the company and our clients. First and foremost, the producer will support and assist the facilitator in simulation-based business training programs. Programs vary in length from 2-6 hours per day. While we are unable to guarantee a set number of programs/ hours worked, we have ample assignments available. This position is not full-time, nor benefit eligible.
What You Will Do
- Willingness to follow direction but also be proactive and self sufficient.
- Be flexible and available for deliveries in different time zones. Be considerate of international partners’ needs.
- Provide technical coordination and support 30-45 minutes before and during the entire scheduled virtual session.
- Assist the facilitator in managing the administrative aspects of the meeting. The producer can be designated as the Host, Alternative Host, or Co-Host. The producer will take attendance, be able to provide logistical instructions at the beginning of each session, letting participants know what to do if they have questions, how/when to use the chat, how polling and breakout rooms will work, and what to do if they get disconnected.
- Manage interactive tools such as whiteboards, breakout rooms, and polls, answer learner questions, create and distribute links, troubleshoot issues, manage chat, advance slides, launch surveys, and support facilitators with activities and instructions.
- Provide technology support during the session – demonstrating and teaching platform features to ensure participants know how to use their tools and by providing in-the-moment troubleshooting assistance to keep sessions running smoothly with fewer interruptions.

About the Role
Abilitie is looking for an experienced marketing marketer to join our small & mighty team. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and managing account-based marketing programs and paid advertising campaigns, optimizing the company’s website and landing pages, and tracking and analyzing marketing results. You’ll work closely with the Sales and Client Experience teams to develop and execute lead generation and nurturing campaigns. You’ll also partner with the Product team to support go-to-market efforts for existing and new leadership development programs.
What You Will Do
Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns
- Develop and drive a clear lead gen roadmap that generates new sources of growth and optimizes existing channels
- Establish targeting methodologies (across marketing channels) and recommend an optimal mix of tactics to build awareness and to fast track customer growth
- Embrace a test-and-learn philosophy and build the organization’s competence in this area, favoring thoughtful iteration over perfection
- Track and analyze marketing results to improve performance
- Actively research new platforms, technologies, and growth partners
- Ensure that digital marketing strategy and tactics align with business and brand goals; partner closely with Sales, Customer Experience, Product, and Operations
Drive acquisition and growth opportunities
- Manage multi-channel campaign data (online and offline) and make media-mix recommendations for optimal performance
- Drive organic search (SEO), paid search (PPC), and retargeting; collaborate with Brand & Content marketer on paid social
- Develop customer marketing campaigns that deepen engagement with Abilitie
- Develop email marketing campaigns that complement our other channels and give prospects a deeper understanding of our differentiators
- Optimize the company’s website and landing pages for conversions
- Assist in the identification and evaluation of new tools, data streams, technologies, and tactics to fire up acquisition
- Monitor external market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify unique opportunities for Abilitie
Own analytics and data analysis
- Track and measure all paid and unpaid media activity, monitor efficacy per channel and make recommendations for ongoing optimization
- Develop, curate, and manage customer lists and lead marketing contact management
Build collaborative cross-functional partnerships
- Lead, participate in and contribute to cross-functional strategic teams, working groups, and initiatives

About the Role
Abilitie is looking for a highly innovative and experienced business development professional for a key role within our organization as a Senior Account Executive. Reporting to the VP of Strategy, you will be responsible for the business development efforts in one of our geographic regions. This is a critical role that requires the right balance of sales prospecting, strategic thinking, comfort with buying conversations, and a strong roll-up your sleeves ‘get it done’ mentality. The right person will work well in a fast paced atmosphere that allows you to create, innovate, and contribute your expertise to shape the growth of our organization.

- Interfacing with in-bound leads to understand potential avenues for us to integrate our solutions to add value to organizations in their talent development efforts.
- Understand our simulation and leadership programs and be able to speak confidently about how they can be used in virtual and in-person training settings.
- Creatively find ways to interact with potential buyers of our simulation by adding value through email, social media, and other channels to drive additional conversations for our organization in your region.
- Attend industry conferences, both in-person and virtual to build relationships with key decision makers at organizations that are in the market for leadership development programs
- Work closely and collaboratively with our client experience team to ensure that our key client contacts feel that their needs are being met at all stages of their journey with Abilitie.
- Develop a broad understanding of the market landscapes and identify key areas of competitive difference and disruptive opportunities.
